I was in that 73 exit class. Our set got the worst deal.

The class started with the civil war breaking out in 1967. 
After the war, the new school year started with us (Sept – June). 
We had to exit in June 1973 to make way for the new school year from Sept.

The Accelerated Stream stopped with our set. 
During our WASC year, we moved back to Afikpo from Enugu to meet terrible living conditions.

The Prefects never considered our plight. The incident lead to some revolt or whatever you might call it. 
Fr. Tagbo expelled us in 1973, though we still took the exams. 
The Class again ended with a local war of expulsion – STRANGE!!
